I know I just wrote an entire blog post (I guess not "just;" that was like two months ago) about how I learned my lesson about putting these things off until the last second, and maybe there's a little truth to that because here I am doing them an entire day before they're due, but my sincere apologies to Emma and Irene for this almost certainly terrible and hurried discussion of my semester alongside them in this class.
First, Emma and I have known each other forever. I remember back in middle school how after every single Kentucky football game from weeks one through six we would both be convinced that they were bound for the SEC (and probably national) championship game, and how after every game week 7-13 we were convinced that they would never win again, and, sadly, we were usually right. Anyways, we've been good friends for a while.
Irene, on the other hand, I hardly knew before this year. We sat next to each other in Mr. Davis's biology class, and I'm still very sorry for not doing any work on our Why we get Sick project. She's super sweet and, although not very talkative, has some really funny stuff on her mind when she chooses to share it.
