Assignment #13 - Wes Davis - A Letter from One Boomer to Another

Dear Baby Boomers Anonymous,

I write to you today with immense grief. My life, as well as the lives of my family, are at a standstill. I feel at times the air is too thick to breathe and the tears that well in my eyes are a waterfall ready for the dam to break. I genuinely don't know how to move on.

The phrase "OK Boomer" has victimized millions of citizens world-wide. According to the Human-Rights Campaign, 99.7% of adults on the planet have reported being discriminated against with the foul words. I, myself, have just fallen victim to the slur as well. My granddaughter, one of the sweetest girls for her age, just took the air from my lungs. As the words left her mouth, the despair set in. My heart skipped a beat before my legs fell from beneath me. I was rushed to the hospital and given only seconds to live. I was put on countless drugs and stuffed to the brim with medicine. I am now $3,000,000 in debt in medical bills! I'm at a risk of losing my family home and the life I've built for my family. My granddaughter's direct attack on my life and the lives of others have gone far enough. This discrimination cannot be tolerated!

What am I to do now? Do I call her Primary-Care Doctor? Schedule an appointment with a therapist? I genuinely don't know what to do. I think all those queers on the smartphone got to her head. What if they made her a homosexual, too? Oh god, please help me!
