Assignment 14 -Untraditional Holidays -William Webb

Thanksgiving Day is a holiday celebrated by Americans on the fourth Thursday of November. It celebrates the story of the Pilgrim's meal with the Native Americans and is reserved as a day to spend with loved ones and for giving thanks. Most families observe with a large meal and sometimes a religious service. But my Family's tradition just falls short go this definition of Thanksgiving Day and its activities.  The morning of Thanksgiving Day consists of last minute preparation and cleaning before all the relatives that start piling into our house.  Not including the relatives that have already arrived the days before hand.  Every hand in the house is used to work to prepare dinner at any early time of 1:00 o'clock. You may be asking, why so early?  Simple, Black Friday starts at 3:00.  Once we've eaten a majority of the food that had been prepared, our ENTIRE family pours into 2 cars. 1 car is used for transportation of people, while the other is used everything bought at outrages prices.
