Assignment 13- Sam Chavez-The school system is flawless

Every day after I leave school, I feel like a new, and changed man that is ready to take on the world. I feel like I have learned everything I need to do in order to make a difference and make a living for myself in today's society. I don't need to be focused on if I can change a tire, do my taxes, or apply for a loan, all I need to be able to do is memorize the unit circle, tell you about the convict leasing system in early American history, and explain to you the difference between a synapse an axon. The force feeding of information in school and the regurgitation of it on test in the modern school system, prepare me for anything that this world has to throw at me. The means by which we reward and punish students in today's schools, is simply... Genius. The punishment for skipping class? SAFE. Because how should we punish students who miss out on instructional time? Make them miss more instructional time. And the reward for sitting silently in class? Still looking for one. Taking in all possible factors of the modern school system, it is evident that the way it is been laid out is a flawless feat of organization he blows my mind and make me flourish as a student every day.
