Assignment 9- war is a tricky subject- Sneha Amrit

I’m not sure if I am the right person to respond to this questions because I always have such mixed feelings about war. It makes me so sad when we hear on the news that innocent civilians have gotten injured or killed because of wars that they did not want any part of. On the other hand there are situations where people are being killed and the only way to stop it is through war. This is was happened during the Holocaust when I believe war was warrented because of all the awful things the Nazis were doing. I suppose that war is only truly warranted if people are getting hurt or killed before war is initiated and war seems like the only way to stop it, however I do not think that war is warranted if it is mostly because of political or economic reasons. In that case I think it does more harm than good.
