Assignment 7: Annie Bohannon Go Dawgs!

This past weekend, I visited the University of Georgia in Athens and I fell in love with the school. I love everything about Athens, the community, the restaurants, the atmosphere. But I especially loved the college. The campus is so beautiful and historic it is captivating. On my tour the tour guide discussed her struggles in the classes biology and econ. She talked about how she had to work so hard to pass but her teachers, librarians, and study groups helped her get through it with an A. I love the idea of taking hard classes and being supported by a group of people who will help you reach your goal. I don’t know exactly what my career path is yet so I want to take the interesting classes and learn all that I can while I’m there. For me, the supportive community really sold me on that school. I mean that and also gamedays. The Saturday I was in town was the UK v Georgia game and even though there was a torrential downpour happening thousands of people still lined the streets and stands in support of the “dawgs”. I love this school and who knows if I’ll end up there but wherever I go I want to make sure there is a good environment for supporting you through the challenging courses.
