Throughout my much un-lived life, I have always gone with the flow and have never stopped to question what I was doing or how I should be doing it. Not until recently have I started to realize that not everything that is done the right way, is not done the best way. This right way of doing things has been pushed on myself as well as many other teenagers.
This small idea had me questioning little tasks, such as, many of my chores around my house, how i solve little tedious tasks and even the way I write. The way I hold my pencil is almost a perfect example, one simple adjustment with your pointer finger can allow you to write almost fifty percent faster. To the point your brain is trying to catch up to your pencil. These particular ways at looking at things like this can give you little advantages over other people who just go with “the flow.”
