Assignment #1 - Luke Plummer - The Little Luxuries of Luke's Life

My name is Luke. I find it difficult to introduce myself, especially when doing it behind a keyboard. I am a much more face to face person. I've been told when I speak I use my hands more than I should, or I talk to people for longer than they want to talk to me, but I enjoy speaking to people, whether it be my friends or strangers I had met that day. Speaking with someone in person allows me to rule out any confusion there could be behind the simple words on a screen, it lets me put the emotion I am meaning to convey into my words.

I am a fairly busy person, juggling the workload received from the academy and the two sports I take a part in can really dry up my free time. I play both lacrosse and football, but lacrosse is the one that I enjoy more. When in the off season, the nerdier side of my personality is apparent. I enjoy video games, reading, and watching marvel movies. All things that I personally can get really sucked into. I have spent, arguably wasted, countless nights of minimal sleep just so I am able to keep playing the games I take comfort in.

Personal goals of mine include achieving all A's in school, and becoming a better writer ( I promise this is not me being a suck up it has been a goal of mine for a long time ). Some other more personal goals of mine that are not so much related with school are goals such as learning how to play the guitar and I want to learn how to do the splits. The only issue with these two goals are that they both require time, which is something that I have a limited amount of.

My summers are spent playing with a travel lacrosse team consisting of the best players in the Lexington/Louisville area. Lacrosse plays a very large role in my life, and it has allowed me to meet coach Stew, someone who has become a father figure to me. I going to include two pictures I have found, one of me about to pie coach in the face. The second picture is my nana, my cousin, and myself. My nana is the most important person in the world to me.



The website I feel obligated to include is YouTube, seeing is that is the most frequently visited one. A very fun channel to watch is Sam O'Nella Acadmey.
