Assignment #7- Miller Luhan- Upon the Horizon

As a child I spent my days dreaming about my future...not planning every single detail about every single event out, but imagining my life as I grow older. I imagine a family- not too big, not too small- a dog, a nice house, ability to golf on the weekends, a nice car, Sunday breakfasts, and workouts on the daily.
How do I achieve these dreams and aspirations?
I believe that with hard work and an unwillingness to submit to failure, anything is possible. Determination. Given that I have only visited three colleges, it is hard to tell exactly which university I plan to attend, but I absolutely loved my tour of Wake Forest- thankfully I can use this to compare and contrast my experiences at other universities to decipher a final decision.
No matter what, though, the college I want to attend for the next four years provides a community that supports and shares these same goals in education. These people include friends, family, and professors. I believe smaller class sizes are essential in facilitating one-on-one interactions with teachers and classmates.
A good education is important as well. This point relates somewhat to the smaller class sizes, but accessibility to information- computers and libraries is important to me, too. I believe well-rounded, cultured individuals make up these educational communities. People who have similar interests to me attract a university as a whole- a variety of social clubs and differing perspectives help me and other individuals grow even further in their own faiths, as well introduce new friends and expand connections.
Overall my dream college offers a variety of clubs, activities, and mind spaces in addition to a well-rounded education with people who have vastly differing perspectives and experiences.
